Young The Giant Event
Young the Giant is an American rock band hailing from Irvine, California. The band was formed in 2004 under the name "The Jakes," and later changed their name to Young the Giant in 2009. The group consists of Sameer Gadhia (vocals), Jacob Tilley (guitar), Eric Cannata (guitar/vocals), Payam Doostzadeh (bass), and Francois Comtois (drums).
Young the Giant first gained recognition with their self-titled debut album, released in 2010. The album featured the hit single "My Body," which became a commercial success and helped to establish the band's distinctive sound, blending elements of indie rock and alternative with a pop sensibility. Since then, Young the Giant has released four more studio albums, including "Mind Over Matter" (2014), "Home of the Strange" (2016), and "Mirror Master" (2018).
The band is known for their energetic live performances and has toured extensively throughout their career, playing at major music festivals and headlining their own tours. In addition to their music, Young the Giant is also active in supporting various charitable causes, including climate change awareness and education.
